Dünya İstanbul’daki 1 Mayıs’ı böyle gördü

ngiliz haber ajansı Reuters, İstanbul’da gerçekleştirilen 1 Mayıs kutlamalarına gerçekleştirilen polis müdahalesini tüm dünyaya bu karelerle servis etti.

Reuters, Taksim Meydanı’nın 1 Mayıs kutlamalarına yasaklanmasının ardından polisin göstericilere biber gazı ve TOMA’larla müdahale ettiğini yazdı.

“Avrupa’nın en büyük şehrinin” güvenlik hapsine mahkum edildiği, binlerce polisin işçi bayramı için sembolik bir önem taşıyan Taksim Meydanı’na geçmelerinin engellediği belirtildi.

Ajans, biber gazları ve TOMA’larla göstericilere müdahalede bulunan polisin, taşlı ve mototof kokteylli saldırıda bulunan göstericileri gözaltına aldığını yazdı.

Haberde, toplu taşıma araçlarının birçoğunun çalışmadığı ve polis helikopterlerinin devriye gezdiği yazdı.

Reuters geçtiği haberde, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ve AKP Hükümetinin, Haziran seçimleri öncesi otoriterleştiği görüşüne de yer verdi.
